Chur, had a great time! Jeff was super welcoming, but the steep stairs were a bit of a mission. Breakfast spread was top-notch though!

What’s great and what’s not
Jeff’s warm welcome and engaging conversations made us feel at home. The charming room, complete with antique furniture, created a delightful atmosphere for our stay.
Parking can be a challenge, and the steep stairs may not be ideal for everyone wishing to carry luggage in or out.

The charm of the historical character really stands out, and the breakfast variety was absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of cozy place where you feel right at home, with a warm ambiance that makes for a lovely stay.
The hot water takes a while to kick in, which can be a bit annoying, although it was pointed out at check-in. The ensuite bathroom I had felt cramped due to a sloping ceiling, and the shower curtain needed a serious clean. Plus, accessing my room required climbing a steep wooden spiral staircase that might be a challenge for those with mobility issues. And parking is another headache—getting a spot can be tricky, so prepare for a bit of a hunt if you’ve got a larger vehicle.

The character of this old property is charming, lending it a unique ambience that makes it feel homely and inviting. The owner is exceptionally welcoming and goes out of his way to assist guests. reaching my room involved navigating a steep, winding staircase, which might be challenging for some. The bathroom in my room felt cramped, particularly due to the low ceiling, and the shower curtain was in need of cleaning. While the parking situation was a bit tricky, there are convenient spots within a short distance.
